The pictures you see above are of my Victoria's Secret Angel custom costume wings, which I hand-make myself. Your wings will resemble these wings, but slight differences in appearance or shape may result, since they are made to order and therefore each set will differ slightly.
From top to bottom, the wings are about 2 1/2 feet tall, and are just a little over shoulder width. This makes them easy to wear, light, and easy to sit down with, since they don't go past the hips. I can make them an even 2 feet if you have a shorter torso, just note this when you order. Larger wings are available for an additional fee--- convo me and this can be discussed.
I designed the wings to be atypical from standard store-bought wings in one major way: Usually, store-bought wings are hung from your shoulders, on two elastic loops, like a backpack. I never liked that design. Because these were made to wear with lingerie and needed to have a considerable amount of skin showing, I chose a choker and waist-tie approach. Their very light weight is evenly distributed across your neck and rib cage. They won't twist or move to one side, like other wings have a tendency to do, because of this design. I will leave the ties long, so that you can cut them shorter if you don't like the look.
These wings are absolutely as exquisite as I could manage--- they're even stuffed at the shoulders and thinner at the base like real bird wings. They're not simply feathers glued onto cardboard, like most store-bought wings. Real time and care was put into making them as realistic and beautiful as possible. The pictures do not even do them justice.
The design is NOT alterable--- for example, I can't make the wings open or closed more, I can't make them stand off from your back, I can't make them out of wire so you can pose them, etcetera. What you see is the exact shape that you will get.
These wings take about 1 week to build--- however, I have to wait for the feathers to ship first. Your item build will start as soon as I receive feathers, which may take anywhere from 1-2 weeks. So a maximum total of three weeks waiting time is possible, but I will let you know when to expect them. If you need them by a certain date, please ask me BEFORE ordering so I can make sure it is do-able.
If you are trying to get these before Halloween, I would suggest you order LONG before October. Even the first of the month will be too late.
