This listing is for a Princess Jasmine wig styled after the character from the Disney movie Aladdin. It is not based off of the Disney parks version, and it does not come in any other style.
It is made out of a three foot long black wig, stuffed on either side of the face around to the back of the head, and stuffed into two poofs in the back. I cannot do three poofs--- not only is that NOT how her hair is in the movie, the wig isn't long enough to allow that.
This is not a custom-made wig. The wig itself is bought by me and then re-styled into what you see above. I do not start from scratch, to keep the cost down, SO I cannot make custom sizes if you have a large or small head. Most adult female heads are from 20-23 inches in circumference at the widest point. The wig stretches to accommodate head sizes within that range, anything larger or smaller I cannot accommodate.
Your wig will come with blue ribbon around the crown of the head, and around each of the two poofs. JEWELRY IS NOT INCLUDED AND I CANNOT INCLUDE THE HEADBAND JEWEL SEEN IN THE PHOTOS. They have discontinued making that particular color of jewel at my local craft store. You will have to add your own. It looks fine with or without a jewel, and will be immediately recognizable as Princess Jasmine whether or not you decide to hot glue one yourself.
Speaking of hot glue--- This wig cannot be washed. Because I am not a professional hairdresser or professional wig-maker, I opted to use hot glue to secure the poofs to the inside of the hair. Washing may cause pieces of hair to pop out of the hot glue that cannot be secured again, and would ruin the shape of the wig. You will not see any hot glue from the outside, but using hot glue ensures that the poofs do not slide out from inside the wig while you are wearing it and that it will hold its shape for years to come. If you are planning to wear it multiple times within a short time span, I would recommend airing it out between use and using a wig cap that is washable, to absorb most of your hair oil that cannot be washed out of the actual wig.
Because I use light-weight batting for the inside of the poofs, not a solid block of Styrofoam or extra amounts of hair, the wig is lightweight. I wore mine for six hours without any trouble, and could easily have worn it longer. My main concern when crafting this wig for myself was that it would look like it was supposed to, while being sturdy enough for kids to touch, holding up to adult scrutiny up close, and being easy to wear. I can promise it will do all of those things for you too!
As you may notice in the photos, there will probably be some fly-aways on your wig. It is not professional grade wig hair, which is what helps make it so cheap, so tiny pieces will break during crafting and the ends might stick out. I craft these wigs in such a way that there's the most minimal amount of fly-away stray hairs that I can manage. If it bothers you, you can always hairspray them down, or cut them off. It's not something I can help because of the nature of the material, and if I were to take the time to buy professional-grade wig hair like so many others on this site, it would also be a few hundred bucks like the others too! So if you can put up with a few fly-aways, it is a great buy for the price, and will complete your costume for that official Princess Jasmine look at a fraction of the cost.
***Wigs ship United States Postal Service. There is not a Fed-Ex or a UPS close to my home, so this is non-negotiable. They will be packaged securely in a box, not squished into a mailer. They do not ship with a wig head so there is no extra weight to drive up the cost of shipping.***
